The general idea is that you should feel comfortable in the kayak after the course. We will deal with the following elements:
Inspection of the kayak and personal adjustment
Basic kayak maneuvering
Steering racks and composite steering racks
Water adaptation, own and partner rescues
How the days will unfold will depend on the course of your development, but the program provides approx. looks:
Day 1:
09:00 – 10:00 Preparation of equipment and kayak inspection and adjustment
1000 – 1300 Basic kayak maneuvering
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14.00 – 16.30 Water familiarization and self- and partner rescues
1630 – 1700 summary and conclusion
Day 2:
09:00 – 13:00 Composite control decks, repetition
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14.00 – 16.00 Water familiarization and self- and partner rescues
16:00 – 17:00 Summary and conclusion, packing up equipment
We take short breaks during the races, subject to change
Bring the following to kayak lessons:
Packed lunches, snacks and drinks
Dry suit/wet suit
Shoes that can get wet (shoes or normal sports shoes without laces) – hat/cap possibly Neoprene gloves, a pair of rubber gloves can also be used
Package bag for packed lunches, a change of clothes, etc.
A change of clothes (including a warm break shirt), towel and possibly sun protection
Ærø Kajak SUP rents out a row pack for DKK 75 per person. day, which includes: wet suit, neoprene shoes, dry jacket and dry bag.

All levels can participate, children from around 14 years.
Place: Car park at Erikshale Marstal beach, unless otherwise agreed
Clothing: Running clothes or similar. Hat/cap, warm sweater/jacket for breaks.
Bring a packed lunch, water and a snack if necessary.
Kayak, paddle and vest are included in the price.
You can rent a rowing packet. Enter the sizes (XS-S-M-L-XL-XXL – age of children under 14 and shoe sizes) in the comments field at checkout.
Remember that if you book accommodation at Teglværkspladsen in connection with the Kayak IPP2 course, you get a 10% discount on your accommodation.
